Summer Education
The camp scholastic instructors place a special emphasis on making the summer learning experience engaging and fun. Your child will be challenged with curriculum designed to help prepare him or her for the forthcoming academic year.
Academic sessions will be led by State of Illinois certified elementary school teachers featuring a specialized curriculum designed by professionals in higher education. An assessment will be conducted at the onset of camp to determine the best ways we can personally enrich your child’s learning experience. Each day, children will participate in 3-hour educational sessions with a structured curriculum that includes math, reading and writing.
In addition to daily classroom activities, your child will be periodically evaluated to help measure his or her mastery of the curriculum. At the end of camp a final learning assessment will be conducted to measure your child’s progress. The results of the initial and final learning assessments will be shared with parents.
